Our 2025 Scholarship Contest Launches April 28th!

Are you a talented writer or artist that will be attending college or trade school in the fall of 2025? Need a little extra help covering the costs? Our Scholarship Contest is right around the corner! All the details and the entry form will be available after 12:00 PM on Monday, April 28, (over on this page) but we wanted to share some exciting updates a little early!
We’re awarding 25 scholarships at $2,000 each, just like last year, but with a new breakdown that includes a brand-new category: art submissions!
Our 3Rivers Scholarship Committee will select:
- 10 essay winners
- 10 visual art winners (drawn or painted pieces)
- 5 randomly drawn winners
To qualify for the random drawing, simply schedule a free, 30-minute financial aid review with our Youth & College Support Team to take place during the scholarship window. We’ll help you with whatever you need—budgeting, student loan info (federal vs. private), scholarship searches, and more. If you’d like, you can go ahead and get that scheduled now at 260.399.8265 or college@trfcu.org.
A few things to keep in mind:
- You must be a 3Rivers member to apply. Not a member yet? You can join online or stop by any branch.
- All the details, including the essay and art prompts and entry form, will be available at 3riversfcu.org/scholarship on Monday, April 28, after 12:00 PM EST. Save the date and this page now so you can access it as soon as it’s live!
- The deadline to enter is Monday, June 2, at 12:00 PM EST. We don’t accept late entries, so be sure to get yours in as soon as possible.
